Candy Shorts tokens are the platform's pay-per-episode currency, and the whole system comes down to two numbers. Across all 132 series, 454 locked episodes cost 12 tokens each and 33 cost 30 tokens each, with no other price point anywhere in the catalog. Episodes 1 and 2 of every series are free, so tokens only matter from episode 3 onward. Every figure on this page was verified on October 9, 2026 against the official catalog.
If that contradicts what you have read elsewhere, good. Several rival sites claim Candy Shorts has no tokens at all, with lines like "you never pay per title". The lock data sits in plain sight in the page code of both official surfaces: candyshorts.com marks locked episodes "paywall", candy.ai marks the same episodes "premium", and the two lists match with zero disagreements. The only two token prices: 12 and 30
The standard unlock price is 12 tokens per episode, and it covers 454 locked episodes. The premium tier is 30 tokens per episode and covers just 33 episodes concentrated in the 11 creator-scope series, all fronted by the six Digital Twins: Bonnie Blue, Riley Reid, Sophie Dee, Mia Malkova, Lexi Luna and Asa Akira. All 10 of those series run 5 episodes, so each has 3 locked episodes and costs exactly 90 tokens to finish. How many tokens to finish a series
Most of the catalog is short: 121 of the 132 series run exactly 5 episodes, which means 2 free episodes plus 3 locked ones. At the standard 12-token price, finishing a typical series costs 36 tokens. The outliers are where the math gets interesting.

Tokens or a subscription: the real comparison

Premium includes 100 tokens per month, which on its own covers eight standard unlocks, or two complete typical series (72 tokens) with 28 tokens left over. For anything beyond one short series, the subscription math usually wins: My Bestie Betrayed Me alone costs 384 tokens to finish piecemeal, almost four months of included Premium tokens. What we could not verify, and will not guess
Two honest gaps. First, token pack dollar prices: we have not verified first hand what a token costs in dollars, so this page quotes token counts, not token dollar math. The only token number we can source from the official subscriptions page is the 100 tokens included with Premium. Second, five login-gated creator series exist beyond the public 132: Blackout At My Yacht Party, Professor Mia, My Girlfriend's Step-Aunt Is Asa Akira, Riley Reid's Forbidden Stepdaddy and My Step-Son's Bully. They are visible on candy.ai behind a login wall, and we could not verify their episode counts, free episodes, or token prices. Any site quoting exact numbers for those two is inventing them.
Do you even need tokens?
Not to start. All 132 series give you episodes 1 and 2 free, 264 free episodes in total, no exceptions. Watch the free episodes of a series first, then decide whether its locked episodes are worth 12 or 30 tokens each, or whether Premium is the better route.
