The Shorts library is hosted on the Candy.ai domain itself, the standalone candyshorts.com site carries an identical 132-series catalog, the subscription is sold at candy.ai/subscriptions, and the charge appears as "EverAI" on your bank statement for either product. At least one rival reference site tells readers the Shorts side has no token system. Our crawl of all 132 series says otherwise: 454 locked episodes are priced at 12 tokens and 33 episodes at 30 tokens, with episodes 1 and 2 free in every single series. Where the two brands blur
The vocabulary differs by surface: candyshorts.com marks locked episodes "paywall" while candy.ai marks the same episodes "premium". We cross-checked every episode across both surfaces and found zero disagreements. Subtitles belong to the catalog, not the domain: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese tracks on roughly 130 series, plus Japanese on 36, detailed on the subtitles page.
The creator crossover is the strongest glue. The official Candy Creators page lists 10 series under "Shorts featuring Creators", and the performers appear there by name. What we could not verify
Five creator series, Blackout At My Yacht Party, Professor Mia, My Girlfriend's Step-Aunt Is Asa Akira, Riley Reid's Forbidden Stepdaddy and My Step-Son's Bully, are login-gated on candy.ai: a logged-out fetch returns HTTP 403. They exist and their titles are verified, but we could not verify their episode counts or free status, so we publish neither. We also could not verify from the outside every way the two products interact inside one account, for example exactly how a token balance behaves when you move between chat and Shorts.
