We pulled these numbers directly from the official candy.ai subscriptions page, and every figure was checked on October 9, 2026. Candy Shorts does not have separate billing: it is the vertical video section of Candy.ai, so the subscription that unlocks it is Candy.ai Premium. Searches for candyshorts price, candy shorts cost, candy ai shorts subscription, and candy.ai shorts plans all end at the same checkout.

Is it $9.99 or $13.99? Both, and the order matters
This is the number review sites fight over, and almost everyone prints half the truth. The official checkout shows $9.99 for the first month only. From the second month on, the plan renews at $13.99/month. A site that says Candy Shorts costs $13.99 flat is ignoring the intro discount; a site that says it costs $9.99 a month is hiding the $13.99 renewal. If you are budgeting past month one, use $13.99. If you are testing the service for a few weeks, $9.99 is the real first charge.
What locked episodes cost in tokens
Subscribing is not the only spend. Each of the 132 public series opens with exactly 2 free episodes, and everything after that is locked. Across the whole catalog there are only two price points: 12 tokens (454 locked episodes) and 30 tokens (33 locked episodes). No other token price exists, whatever a rival table claims. candyshorts.com labels these episodes "paywall" and candy.ai labels them "premium", but they are the same episodes; we cross-checked both surfaces with zero disagreements. What you can watch without paying anything
Before you pick a plan, know what the free tier actually covers: episodes 1 and 2 of every single series, 132 out of 132, verified on October 9, 2026. Series run from 5 to 34 episodes, 5.7 on average, so two free episodes is a real sample, not a teaser frame. Our free episodes guide lists them all, and the episode index shows which ones are locked. We could not verify any free trial of Premium itself; the $9.99 first month is a discounted paid month, not a trial.
Billing details to know before you enter a card
- Statement descriptor: the subscriptions page states, quote, "Charge shown as 'EverAI' on your bank statement". If EverAI shows up on your card, this is that.
- Up-front billing: quarterly ($26.97) and yearly ($47.88) are charged as one payment per period, not spread monthly.
- Auto renewal: the monthly plan renews at $13.99/month after the $9.99 intro month.

The yearly plan's $3.99/mo equivalent is the lowest rate on the grid, but it means handing over $47.88 on day one for a service you may not want in month four. The quarterly plan, $26.97 at an $8.99/mo equivalent, is the middle path. The weekly ($5.60) and bi-weekly ($9.79) options exist for short commitments.
